Curling enthusiasts nationwide in Canada will soon have the opportunity to watch the debut of the world’s first professional league via live stream this spring. The Rock League has confirmed a partnership with CBC Sports to showcase its inaugural season starting on April 6.

Chris Wilson, CBC’s Executive Director of Sports and Olympics, expressed enthusiasm for sharing the debut season of Rock League with viewers across Canada. With a focus on leveraging the momentum of Milano Cortina 2026, Wilson highlighted CBC Sports’ extensive history of curling coverage and its commitment to bringing this innovative new league to a broader audience.

CBC Sports will deliver over 40 hours of live coverage on various digital platforms, including CBC Gem, cbcsports.ca, and the CBC Sports YouTube channel. Additionally, CBC will broadcast the playoffs, semifinals, and championship matches live on national television.

Established in 2025 by the Curling Group, The Rock League was created to unite six top-tier mixed-gender global franchises for a condensed preview season. The league aims to introduce new competition formats and enhance the overall in-venue experience with a modern and entertainment-centric approach.

Scheduled to kick off on April 6 in Toronto, The Rock League’s first season will follow the conclusion of the Milano Cortina Olympics.
