Nestlé Canada has issued a recall for certain Gerber Arrowroot biscuits due to potential contamination with soft plastic and/or paper particles in the arrowroot flour used during production. The recall is specific to three batches of the biscuits packaged in 155-gram sizes, with the following SKUs: 5231565504 (BB/MA 2026 NO 18), 5232565504 (BB/MA 2026 NO 19), and 5233565504 (BB/MA 2026 NO 20).
These affected biscuits were distributed both in physical stores and online throughout Canada. Nestlé advises consumers not to consume the products and to either discard them or return them to the purchase location for a refund. Alternatively, customers can reach out to the company directly for reimbursement.
Nestlé has emphasized that there have been no reported complaints regarding the affected product. As a precaution, the company has ceased using arrowroot flour from the supplier linked to the contamination issue.
