Regarding the shooting incident involving Renee Good, a mother of three, who was shot by ICE agent Jonathan Ross on January 7 in a residential area of Hennepin County, questions arise about the ability of local officials to pursue charges without access to FBI information.
An independent autopsy conducted on Good revealed that she sustained at least three gunshot wounds, with the most severe one entering near her left temple and exiting through the right side of her head. The law firm representing Good’s family highlighted these findings, emphasizing the need for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding her death.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office declared Good’s death a homicide, attributing it to multiple gunshot wounds. However, the release of the full autopsy report is pending, a process that could take up to 12 weeks.
In response to the lack of federal investigation, the focus shifts to the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office (HCAO) as the sole entity handling the criminal inquiry.
