Two individuals are in trouble with the law following the theft of two taxis from a business in Antigonish, N.S., last week. The Nova Scotia RCMP announced on Friday that two Dodge Grand Caravans were stolen late Thursday night or early Friday morning from a business on Beech Hill Road. The RCMP later reported on Saturday that the stolen taxis had been found, with one recovered in Mulgrave and the other in Stellarton. Subsequently, the RCMP revealed on Tuesday that a 45-year-old man from Antigonish and a 31-year-old woman from Isaacs Harbour are facing charges for possessing property obtained through criminal means amounting to over $5,000. The RCMP mentioned that the two taxis had incurred minor damages, clarifying that there is no indication of them being used unlawfully to transport passengers or collect fares.
