While lacking the in-person atmosphere, this approach offered a broader perspective on the Games. The Milano-Cortina Olympics surpassed expectations, with remarkable performances and smooth operations, devoid of major setbacks.
The standout moments of the Games included Alysa Liu’s triumphant return to figure skating, Mikaela Shiffrin’s flawless slalom run, and Federica Brignone’s ski victories. Notable achievements also came from athletes like Francesca Lollobrigida, the Swedish cross-country team, and Franjo von Allmen of Switzerland.
