RCMP authorities in Quesnel, British Columbia, are currently looking into a potential case of homicide. The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Thursday in a rural residential vicinity on the 2900-block of Brinkert Road. Upon responding to a report regarding weapons, law enforcement discovered a 49-year-old man with severe injuries who unfortunately succumbed to his wounds despite medical efforts. A 61-year-old individual was apprehended but subsequently released with no charges as inquiries persist. The police have indicated that the two individuals were acquainted, and they believe the situation is contained, posing no threat to public safety.
