The upcoming 2026 Women’s National Basketball League season will mark the debut of the Toronto Tempo, with their first game set for May 8 against the Washington Mystics at Coca-Cola Coliseum. The league unveiled its 44-game schedule, including three season-opening matches. Negotiations are ongoing between the WNBA players and the league regarding a new collective bargaining agreement. If an agreement is reached, Toronto will primarily play its home games at Coca-Cola Coliseum but will also host three games at Scotiabank Arena, the home of the NHL’s Maple Leafs and NBA’s Raptors. The team’s schedule includes games at various venues, with matchups at Scotiabank Arena against the Phoenix Mercury, Minnesota Lynx, and Indiana Fever. Additionally, the Tempo will play games at the Bell Centre in Montreal against Dallas and New York, as well as at Rogers Arena in Vancouver against Portland and Las Vegas.
