Stanley Cup that ‘stays ice cold or red hot for hours’ drops to £14 on Amazon
Amazon shoppers have been raving about a cup that’s going to be the perfect addition to your cupboards this summer as the weather heats up. It can keep your drinks “ice cold for hours” – and it’s on sale.
The Stanley Adventure Stacking Beer Pint has been discounted as part of Amazon’s Spring Deal Days event. Normally £36, it is now available for just £13.99 for a limited time.
The stainless steel cup comes in a choice of colours and does exactly what you’d expect from Stanley. It claims to keep drinks ice cold “for up to 4 hours”, making it ideal for the gym, or any holiday, picnic, hike, or camping trip.

It doubles as an excellent travel cup for mulled wine, tea, or soup and keeps hot for up to 45 minutes. However, Brits have been encouraged not to expect an entire pub pint to fit in one of these cups.
This is because the ‘pint’ used in its name is the American measurement (holding 470ml, whereas a typical British pint glass will hold 568ml). Regardless, the stackable cup has proven popular with shoppers who find it both practical and stylish on Amazon.
One said: “It does the job perfect! We bought for an overseas all-inclusive holiday in order to keep our drinks cold for longer. They certainly kept our drinks cold in the 39C heat for quite a while! The envy of other guests as well as the bar staff!”
Another added: “I purchased two of these cups (white and blue) to take on holiday with me, so I wouldn’t have to drink out of the small plastic cups most hotels have during the day time to serve drinks and the beach/pool.”
The continued: “I used them every day for two weeks, and we found our drinks consistently kept ice cold, to the point where ice in the drinks simply wouldn’t melt for hours, or slushy drinks remained the same consistency.” A third wrote: “I’m not sure how it does it, but it does keep your beer cold even when directly in the sun.”
Someone else’s review read: “I was curious how long tea would stay hot in a open ended flask. Surprisingly it keeps hot to warm for about 40 minutes. Also, it’s bigger than your standard mug so you can make one big cup of tea that stays hotter for longer.”
Some, however, were less than happy. One claimed: “This is marketed as a product intended to keep your pint cool. It certainly foes that but at the same time the metallic interior has ruined the taste of every beer I have tried it with.”
Another suggested: “Awful quality. The bottom came out just 32 days after purchase – and that was being washed by hand. I can only imagine if you put it in the dishwasher!”
There are plenty of alternatives available to these cups elsewhere. Ninja’s Thirsti 530ml Travel Bottle is available directly from the Ninja website for £29.99 and the YETI Rambler Stackable Cup holds 20oz (591ml) and sells in a variety of colours from £25.99.
