In the statement attributed to general manager and president of hockey operations Steve Staios, the organization expressed disappointment over the fabricated stories circulating on social media and condemned those individuals spreading false information. The team emphasized the importance of respecting Ullmark’s privacy and expressed disgust towards external influences attempting to disrupt the team with unwarranted speculation. The statement aimed to quash the groundless rumors that had been proliferating online.
