RCMP authorities in Fort Smith, Northwest Territories, have successfully located and apprehended an individual following the issuance of a public alert and arrest warrant earlier in the week. In an official statement released on Friday, RCMP confirmed that Terron Stevens, aged 32, was discovered at a residence within the community on Thursday.
The police were alerted on January 4th following a report of an individual being assaulted and robbed with a firearm at a residence in the area. According to the release, the victim sustained serious injuries and was subsequently airlifted from the community for medical attention.
Terron Stevens faces multiple charges including robbery with a firearm, assault, assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, two counts of weapon possession, and two counts of making threats. These charges stem from incidents that occurred on January 3rd and January 4th, as stated by the RCMP.
Stevens is presently in police custody and was scheduled to appear in court on Friday for further legal proceedings.
