The victim, identified as Jayme Shawn Syring, aged 34, succumbed to his injuries at Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday, as disclosed in a media release by Kingston Police. The incident occurred following an assault at a residence near Princess Street and Gardiners Road.
Law enforcement officials apprehended a 51-year-old male resident of Kingston on Thursday, with the assistance of street crime and drug enforcement units. Additionally, a search warrant was carried out in the 100 block of Sutherland Drive, as detailed in the police statement. While the police did not disclose the suspect’s identity or specify the charges, the individual was slated to appear in bail court on Friday.
