A tragic incident occurred in downtown Toronto on Friday when a vehicle struck a male pedestrian and a dog, resulting in the dog’s death and the pedestrian being hospitalized. The Toronto police were alerted to the collision around 2:18 p.m. near Lakeshore Boulevard and Remembrance Drive. The pedestrian was transported to the hospital but was later confirmed to have non-life-threatening injuries. Fortunately, the driver stayed at the scene. Roads that were closed due to the accident were reopened by 3:21 p.m. on the same day, as confirmed by the police.
