Canada has announced the selection of six athletes for the Olympic luge team, with five individuals making their Olympic debut in Italy. Embyr-Lee Susko, Kailey Allan, Beattie Podulsky, Devin Wardrope, and Cole Zajanski are set to compete for the first time on the grand stage. Trinity Ellis, participating in her second Games, will join Susko in the women’s singles event. Allan and Podulsky will pair up for the women’s doubles, while Wardrope and Zajanski will represent Canada in the men’s doubles category. Ellis, who achieved a 14th-place finish in the women’s singles event at the 2022 Olympics in Beijing, contributed to Canada’s sixth-place finish in the mixed team relay. Additionally, women’s doubles luge will be introduced for the first time at the Milan Cortina Winter Olympics.
