“Alt-Pop Singer D4vd Linked to Teen’s Death Probe”

Singer D4vd is under scrutiny in a Los Angeles County grand jury investigation involving the death of a 14-year-old girl. The girl’s decomposed body was discovered in an abandoned Tesla registered to the singer, court records revealed.

Court documents revealed that prosecutors have identified D4vd, a 20-year-old alt-pop singer from Houston, as the subject of the grand jury investigation. The investigation, kept confidential in California, was revealed when three of the singer’s family members were summoned to testify in Texas.

The documents suggest that the individual under investigation may have committed a Murder offense under California law. The Tesla associated with the case was reportedly registered to D4vd at the residence of the family members who received subpoenas.

Although authorities have not officially named D4vd as a suspect, the body of Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who would have turned 15 the day after her body was found, was discovered in the Tesla. She was reported missing in 2024 at the age of 13 from Lake Elsinore, located approximately 112 kilometers southeast of Los Angeles.

Law enforcement found Celeste’s remains, including severed limbs, in a cadaver bag within the Tesla. Despite the disturbing discovery, representatives for D4vd have not commented on the case, and the District Attorney’s Office has chosen not to provide any statements.

The Tesla, which had been left unattended in a posh Hollywood Hills neighborhood, was eventually towed. D4vd initially continued his tour following the discovery of the body but later canceled upcoming performances and tours after his involvement in the case was widely publicized.

D4vd, known for his unique music style blending indie rock, R&B, and lo-fi pop, had gained popularity among Gen Z fans. His sudden connection to the investigation has caused disruptions in his career, including the cancellation of shows and tours. The cause of Celeste’s death has not been disclosed as Los Angeles police have prevented the release of autopsy findings.
