Boots £33 ‘magic eraser’ anti-ageing retinol cream that ‘reduces wrinkles’ is down to £10
When it comes to anti-ageing skincare, retinol is one of the most powerful ingredients you can buy before prescription skincare – but rarely does it come cheap. However, high street retailer Boots has launched a âpremiumâ edition of their weekly £10 Tuesday offer, and shoppers can pick up an âeffectiveâ night cream containing the hero active for, you guessed it, £10.
Usually £32.99, the RoC Retinol Correxion Wrinkle Correct Night Cream has been slashed to £10 in the one-day flash sale. The one-day deal is cheaper than Sephora, where the same cream will set you back £39.99.
Beauty buffs have praised its ‘magicâ, with claims that it âreduces fine lines and wrinklesâ within four weeks. The fine line-fading formula works overnight when the skin is believed to be more receptive. Itâs been designed to deliver âsmother, more radiantâ skin in four weeks, and has been clinically proven to reduce the appearance of expression lines and deep wrinkles in 12 weeks.

Retinol, a form of Vitamin A, is known for its potency, which for some people can cause skin irritation, but RoCâs formula is said to be âgentle enough for daily useâ while still offering dramatic results. If you are still unsure about using a retinol, the No7 Laboratories Line Correcting Booster Serum, which is also reduced to £10 today, down from £34.95, instead contains Matrixyl 3000+, a potent peptide blend designed to improve skin elasticity and reduce the appearance of even deep-set wrinkles.
If you wanted something even stronger than the RoC cream, though, we recommend the Medik8 Crystal Retinal, which contains a form of Vitamin A thatâs 11x stronger than standard retinol. You can get the sensitive skin-friendly version for £43, and work your way up the strengths from 1 to 20.
But, with a 4.4 average star rating on Boots’ website, the RoC Retinol Correxion Wrinkle Correct Night Cream is a popular choice among shoppers, and has earned heaps praise as the best everâ cream for âimprovingâ signs of ageing .
One five-star review read: “Immediately after applying I noticed the fine lines around my mouth almost disappear. This product becomes more effective the more regularly you use it.”
Another delighted customer called the cream a “magic eraser” and added: “My skin looks and feels better after only a week’s worth of bedtime application. No lines are disappearing, but they appear softer if that makes sense. My makeup glides on more smoothly and my skin looks distinctly softer/better, more luminous. I would definitely recommend this one for the over-45 crowd.”
A third customer praised: “I received this from Pinch Me as a sample and I can see visible results after only 5 days! My fine lines are fading and my skin is smoother. I am obsessed.” However, it’s worth noting that some users experienced sensitivity.
One person wrote: “As with all retinol products you can get some dryness, redness and sensitivity. To avoid this I use every other night and moisturize well during the day.”
Someone else said they didn’t see any visible changes, stating: “I have used this night cream for a few weeks and I just do not see a noticeable difference yet. I may need to use it a little longer.”
Other products included in this weekâs £10 Tuesday sale include the L’Oreal Paris Revitalift Laser Pure Retinol Deep Anti-Wrinkle Night Serum, which is down from £31.99, while the Nip+Fab Hyaluronic Fix Extreme4 Hydration Jelly Eye Patches x 20 Pairs are almost half price, usually £19.95. And if youâre looking for a new mascara, the bareMinerals Strength & Length Serum-Infused Mascara was £24 but is £10 today only. You can shop all of the £10 Tuesday offers here.
