“Millions Witness Total Solar Eclipse Across Arctic and Europe”

Millions of viewers witnessed a total solar eclipse on Wednesday across regions such as the Arctic, Greenland, Spain, and Portugal. In other areas, observers not within the path of totality experienced a partial eclipse. Here are the key moments from Wednesday’s solar eclipse.

Individuals were seen observing the eclipse from the sea port of Tarragona in Spain’s Catalonia region. The moon gradually obscured the sun during the solar event in Berlin.

In western Germany, a skywatcher used eclipse glasses to view the solar eclipse at the Halde Hoheward park in Herten. A video feed of the solar eclipse was displayed on a stadium screen before the UEFA Super Cup soccer match between Paris Saint-Germain and Aston Villa in Salzburg, Austria.
