Strong winds may lead to reduced visibility, particularly in the northeastern areas, with the inclement weather forecasted to persist until Monday morning.
Prince Edward Island will experience initial snowfall, followed by a shift to ice pellets and freezing rain by Sunday evening. This is projected to revert to snow early on Monday morning, accompanied by strong winds.
Nova Scotia has issued special weather statements for Antigonish, Colchester, Hants, and Pictou counties, with snow, ice pellets, and freezing rain predicted from early Sunday to Sunday night. Freezing rain warnings are in place for Annapolis, Cumberland, and Kings counties, with freezing rain expected to last for four to six hours starting in the morning and extending into the afternoon. Cape Breton, specifically Mabou and parts of Inverness County, may experience Les Suêtes winds of up to 100 km/h from this afternoon until tonight. Winter storm warnings are active for parts of Inverness and Victoria counties, with 15 centimeters of snow expected, lasting from Monday morning to Monday night.
