A tragic incident occurred in Laval, Quebec, when a six-year-old girl passed away after being rushed to the hospital following a multi-vehicle collision on Route 335. The Service de police de Laval (SPL) reported that eight other individuals sustained injuries in the accident, which took place between Dagenais Boulevard and Saint-Saëns Street around 7:30 p.m. Laval police suggested that the snowy conditions on Monday might have contributed to the collisions.
Authorities are currently in discussions with a 40-year-old man, whom they identify as a key witness in the case. Updates on his situation will be provided by the police. Urgences-santé mentioned that five of the victims, including a five-month-old baby, a child, and three adults, were unconscious when they were taken to the hospital. Fortunately, the lives of four other injured individuals are not in jeopardy, as confirmed by the paramedic service.
