Anne-Marie puts on loved-up display with slowthai as she shares pregnancy update
Anne-Marie has shown off her growing baby bump as she prepares to welcome her second baby – while also revelling in the fact she’s been helping fans get revenge on their exes.
The 33-year-old Rockabye singer revealed in February this year that she was expecting her second child – with the news being announced one year after she had welcomed a daughter named Seven. The singer – who has been married to rap star Slowthai since 2022 – has been updating fans on her pregnancy in the weeks since.
And on Friday, she took to Instagram to show share a string of snaps – including one where she had her bump on full display as she posed for a mirror selfie. Other images showed her planting a kiss on her husband’s lips, enjoying the company of a friend, and showing a close up of a sandwich – among other images and short video clips.
Anne-Marie uploaded the content alongside a caption stating: “My favourite things are love and revenge” – and added a devil emoji and a green heart emoji.
Among the collection of images was a photograph of posters stating: “Call me if you want to get revenge on your ex” – along with a phone number that fans can call.
Anne-Marie has revealed that she has been collating surprising stories from fans – with the singer left shocked over some of the stories that she has received.
Taking to Instagram earlier this month, the chart-topping star explained: “I thought I’d do a video because I asked you for your stories earlier this week about your experiences with your ex, and I can’t believe what people have replied, so I feel like it deserves a video about it.”
Reading one example, she recounted: “We broke up because my ex got his dad to follow me and my mates around everywhere we went in a blacked out Range Rover for weeks on end, and I had no idea who it was.”
Continuing the story, she went one: “It’s funny now” – but broke out of the story, to question: “Is it?” And concluding the feedback, she reported the fan stating: “It was absolutely traumatic at the time.”
Addressing the camera, Anne-Marie said: “I think it’s still traumatic, mate. That is still traumatic. Did you call the police? Because that is not normal. And why’s his dad getting so involved? That dad is weird, mate. You’re lucky you got out of it, is all I’ll say.”
And sharing another story, she recorded: “We broke up because my ex got me pregnant, blocked me, got another girl pregnant the month after, and unblocked me wanting to get together again. The best part, he suddenly became deaf and got fired from his job, so he had to move in with his parents.”
Questioning the story, Anne-Marie said in disbelief: “This can’t be real. Is the deafness a part of him getting fired? Or is that just a separate, completely separate thing? Are you having the baby? Is the other girl having the baby? Do you want to get back with him? Do you need to learn sign language? Like, what is this?”
